On 9/2/24, our nightshift squad conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic infraction. Upon making contact with the driver, Jettie Johnson (50), marijuana was found to be in plain view. After further investigation, Johnson was found to be in possession of a total amount of 352 grams of synthetic marijuana, 27 grams of marijuana, and $1,400 in cash. Johnson was arrested and charged with Sale or Delivery of Marijuana and Trafficking in Synthetic Cannabinoids (280 grams or more).
Marshal Jones would like to remind our community that if you commit a crime, you will be held accountable. The arrestee(s) is/are considered innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt through our court system.
