DeSoto County. Fl Government Update:
Liverpool Park, 9211 Liverpool Rd Arcadia, FL, will be CLOSING on Monday SEPTEMBER 9th for Construction purposes.
This Park (boat ramp, pavilion, dock and driveway parking area) will be CLOSED to the public for a 6-month time period. Liverpool boat ramp will be scheduled to re-open the end of March 2025.
This Construction project is a Florida Boating Improvement Program (FBIP) Grant through the Florida Fish & Wildlife Commission (FWC). The project includes total renovation of the existing boat ramp and the addition of a new floating aluminum dock (similar to Lettuce Lake floating dock structure).
This boat ramp and current dock are in need of vital restoration/replacement.
The Lettuce Lake Park boat ramp and dock is very nearby, 8801 SW Reese St. Arcadia, FL; just to the north of Liverpool Road on Reese Street for boating use.
