ATTENTION!! Our Teen Driver Challenge is officially FULL! But don’t worry, we are continuously accepting applications in the event of a cancellation. All submitted applications will be kept for the next scheduled class.
If you still would like to sign up for the FREE class, fill out and submit an application found at the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office Lobby or with Sgt. Santos at DeSoto County High School.

WHEN: SATURDAY, JUNE 24, 2023 AT 8:00 AM WHERE: DESOTO COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE 208 E CYPRESS STREET, ARCADIA, FL 34266 WHO SHOULD ATTEND: TEENS WITH A VALID LEARNERS PERMIT OR DRIVERS LICENSE COST: FREE CLASS SIZE IS LIMITED TO THE FIRST 12 ATTENDEES. To reserve your seat, please RSVP by contacting Captain Tim Hilgeman at (863) 491-6744 or email thilgemanedesotosheriff.org by Monday, June 19. Drivers that participate must have six months of driving experience as the driving exercises are challenging. The course is provided free of cost to DeSoto County youth. The registration is limited to the first 12 students. Application forms are available from Sgt. Santos at the DeSoto County High School lobby, or at the Sheriff’s Office.
