WANTED FUGITIVE! BE ON THE LOOKOUT!
DeSoto County, we need YOUR help to track down Steven Hayward Warren, after our law enforcement deputies found him driving a Gold Dodge Truck with a trailer tag that was reported stolen out of Jacksonville.
Early Monday morning our law enforcement deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle when Steven led deputies on a pursuit, eventually crashing into a ditch. Steven fled from the area on foot, and our deputies have gathered information in the investigation to believe the suspect may be heading toward Belle Glade, Florida.
Steven Warren faces charges including Flee to Elude, Aggravated Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer with a deadly weapon without intent to kill and breaking or injuring fences that contain livestock. He also has an active warrant out of Suwannee County involving narcotics and resisting.
