It provides homeowners affected by Hurricane Ian with an interim solution that protects their property and allows them to remain in their homes while they continue to recover. The Operation Blue Roof program is a NO COST-FREE service for homeowners, and the deadline to apply is November 1.

To obtain service, a resident begins by submitting a Right of Entry (ROE) application online at blueroof.us by calling 888-ROOF-BLU (888-766-3258). , or by visiting one of several application locations located in approved counties. A current list of places where people can apply can be found on the Blue Roof website. Operation Blue Roof is a priority mission managed by USACE for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The goal of the Blue Roof program is to provide homeowners in disaster areas with industrial-strength, fiber-reinforced roofing to protect storm-damaged roofs until homeowners can make permanent repairs.
